Hello, hello, and welcome back to the reinvention era, where we don't wait for new year to start again. No, we don't. We can claim our comeback any fucking time. But for me, there is something extra beauts about September for reinvention energy. Because the thing is, by September, it's not just a month, it's a vibe, it's a whole fucking mood. And it also always makes me want to burst into a rendition of party on, but as one can't sing, we will move on swiftly. But you know, September, it's like the back to school energy of your childhood, but with a grown up glow up. You know what I mean? Like it's all new shoes and sharpened pencils and clean slates, no detentions yet, fresh bag, uniform, you know, but also the high hopes and empty notebooks ready to be filled with the next chapter. We do love a bit of stationery over here. It's just like this whole buzz of excitement in the air, and Facebook is also full of photos of kids standing by front doors. But anyway, this time though, you're not heading back to class, no, you're not this grown up. September, energy is heading back to yourself. You know the feeling though, don't you like when the weather shifts ever so slightly and the air feels different, crisper, cleaner, like something new is coming, like something old is done. That's September energy, not loud, not chaotic, but focused, intentional, exciting, even. So for me, I always think it's the perfect time to just stop look around you and ask yourself, what do I want this next season of my life to feel like? And who do I want to be as the leaves start to fall, because that's the other thing. Autumn doesn't fuck around, does it? It's the season of letting go. I love it. Let it the fuck go love it's the season of clearing space of releasing what's done so that something new can take root. So in this episode, we're going all in on how to use this September energy to reignite your vision, especially if you've lost the thread this year, because it can't just be me, but also how to reconnect with where you're going, even if you don't quite know yet, even if you're not quite sure, you don't need a full 5,10, 15,20, year plan. You don't need a colour coded vision board. You know, you just need a decision. Make the decision that you're not finishing this year the way you started it, and commit to it, not just give up by the end of the month like we do with January.

Sarah Elizabeth  03:58

Okay, so let's fucking go, and let's start with getting something straight right. January might have fireworks and champagne parties, but September, she's got substance love. September's got that quiet, confident energy. It's not on stage, it's not performing, it's not rushed. It's the month of actual reinvention, not the diet ad version. You know, there's a reason it feels like a reset, because your brain loves, love, loves markers, fresh starts, clean slates, symbolic change researchers call it the Fresh Start effect. It's why Mondays feel like magic, why birthdays feel so. Loaded, and why September, with all its new academic calendars and school years and seasonal changes, gives your mind permission to think, right? Okay, let's try again. But most of us don't use it that well, we have a tendency to either ignore it and wait for January again, or we go head first, sprinting into planning without stopping to just feel but you you're here listening to this because you want something different. So if you've been feeling like you've lost momentum this year, like you've been stuck in hustle or survival or just energy, maybe you've ticked all the boxes and still feel unfulfilled. You've built the life now you're wondering where you went. You've been the capable one for so damn long. You forgot how to want just for you. You feel like you want to re enter your story, but you don't know where to start. We'll start here. Start in September. You don't need to change everything. You just need to get honest about where you're going next. And for that, you need a bit of a vision. And I know what you're going to say, or at least what you might be thinking. This all sounds great, Sare, but I don't actually know what I want anymore. I've lost my vision. I feel too fucking tired to dream the delulu love. Can't even work out what I want for dinner, let alone my life. You know, if that's you, you're not alone. So many high achieving women hit a point where they built everything for every other fucker, the job, the family, the to do, list, the image, and suddenly kind of go, um, hang on, what about me? And vision doesn't just disappear. All those big delulu dreams you've had over the years, even as a kid, don't go anywhere. Just gets buried under exhaustion after a long bloody day at work, fixing that smile on your face, thinking it's a good day if you haven't punched somebody, only to get home and find the kids have trashed your house, the dog needs a walk, and nobody's even thought about fucking dinner. You know, those dreams are the last things on your bloody mind. They're buried under survival, under that voice that says, Be realistic. Who the fuck do you think you are? Women like you don't do shit like that, or worse, that voice that says, It's too late for me. Fuck that voice, by the way. But you know what? You don't need that Pinterest, perfect 10 year plan. You don't even need to know the how. You just need to ask yourself, what would feel like fuck yes to me right now in our no fucks era, start there, because vision isn't always about certainty. It's about curiosity. It's not about mapping out every last step. It's about being brave enough to go I want more. I deserve more, and I'm willing to look at what that fucking looks like. So if you've lost the vision, we're not panicking. No, we're not. We're not panicking. We just need to be open to letting go of some of the old shit, maybe even planting some new seeds. Who knows? So if you're ready to reconnect, to reimagine, rewrite, the next season, let's have a look at three reinvention era, ways to do exactly that.

Sarah Elizabeth  09:07

First up, set a vibe, not a goal. Okay, this season, try not to start with what do I want to achieve? Okay? Instead, start with, how do I want to feel? Because, honestly, more often than not, we're not actually chasing the goals themselves. We're chasing the emotions and the feelings that we think that achieving them is going to give us so skip the fucking performance targets that you put on yourself and ask yourself, how you want to feel? Do you want to feel powerful, spacious? Do you want to feel inspired? Do. Seen creative. Try and pick three feelings, two or three feelings, and make those feelings your September mood board. Right then number two, have a date. Just go on a date. Oh, with future you okay? So block out 30 minutes or so, make a coffee, get a glass of the Prosecco. whatevs, but just sit down and write shit down from her perspective, your future you the version of you who's already living a best life, the next chapter, right? Ask her, what's she wearing? How does she start her day? What she stopped tolerating? Who's in her corner? What's she working on? What she's celebrating? Let her speak. She's in there. Believe me, it's all inside of you. She is in there. If you are struggling. There is a tool, and I call it the one tool that changed everything. For me, it's on the reinvention era website, the underscore reinvention era.com it's on there. It really does help to narrow this down for you about future you, your future life, and what it is that you fucking want in life, basically because it is in there. It's in you. It's just got a little bit lost, right? Think about the acorn. Okay, the acorn is blueprinted to grow into an oak tree, not an apple tree, not a cherry blossom tree, an oak tree. But in order to do that, the acorn has to be planted in the right place. It needs to have the right nutrients, the right environment, sun, water, light, shade, wind, whatever. Because as much as an acorn is meant to grow into an oak tree. If you chuck it in the corner of your kitchen and ignore it, it ain't growing to fuck all. And each of us, every single one of us, is blueprinted to grow into something specific, whether that's we're meant to live in a certain place in a certain way, of certain things which benefit us, whatever it is. But if we spend our entire lives in the wrong environment, in the wrong place, not give ourselves what we need, we ain't gonna grow. We spend all our time nurturing all the other fucking acorns, pleasing them, making sure they've got what they need, and forget that we need to grow as well. So sometimes, actually, it's really important to stop and think about what your future oak tree looks like, what the acorn aka you need to grow into it. And I know it all sounds a little bit out there, a bit Woo, woo, but I promise you, this isn't fluff. This is like training your brain to normalise the identity of the woman you're becoming, plus as well your subconscious. I love the specific just saying. And the third way to get in your reinvention era groove is to clear the freaking clutter, the mind clutter. Bear with me, September's autumn, and Autumn is letting go. Yes. What did the trees do I feel like I've now turned this into a tree centric episode, but we'll go with it. Okay, what do the trees do in autumn? They don't cry about losing their leaves. Please don't leave me. I'm nothing without you. You know they know it's part of the process. They know something new is coming. The leaves don't make the fucking tree. So ask yourself, What are you carrying that's not coming with you into this next season? What habits, beliefs, obligations, old identities need to be freed. Is it the always busy badge on the go, go, go, go, go. Is it people pleasing or people pleading more like do. Is it overproving, undercharging? What is it? Look at that first and then cut the energetic weight. Your next vision doesn't need you to hustle harder. It needs you to be lighter. So if you've been waiting for a sign, this is it. You don't have to find yourself. You just have to come home to yourself. It's in there, and you're allowed to start again. You're allowed to do it differently. You're allowed to say that, that that's gone. That was my survival era. Now it's my vision era, my reinvention era. You don't have to figure it all out today, but please, please, please, don't go back to sleep on your own potential. Just because the year hasn't gone so far the way you thought it would. There are still four months left in this year, and that's more than enough time to reclaim your energy, to reinvent your reality. So sharpen your pencils, love, straighten your crown, get back in the fucking room. You're not behind. You're just getting started.

Sarah Elizabeth  17:55

Okay, now if this episode lit something up in you, then I know you're going to want to join me inside the badass AF book club as we go all in on our next book, rich as fuck by Amanda Frances, and we're kicking off on September, The first perfect timing to take that September energy and turn it into currency, and talking of the Fresh Start effect that we said at the start, it is September with that September energy, it's also the first of the month, and the first of the month, the first of September is a Monday. What more of a fresh start could you want with your money than that? And this isn't about budgets. It's not about saving for new Mulberry, although that may well happen as a side effect. We hope it's about taking charge of who you are. Who is that future you when it comes to money? Is she scrambling about looking for coins down the sofa? Is she only putting a tenner of petrol in the car just because we've got another two days until payday? That's looking a bit tight, or was she abundant as fuck rich as fuck badass as fuck. This is about beliefs. It's about identity. It's about finally putting wealth on your VIP list. So come join the book club. Get all the breakdowns, the pep talks, the odd loving bitch slap, a private chapter by chapter podcast and a community of hat girls we are just finishing, actually, you are a badass in the badass AF book club. And Jen sincero reminds us actually, that only 5% of people who sign up for something actually do anything with it. Now, whether that's a super high end course or the tenner book from Amazon, the beauty of this book club is that where badass women are doing this together, that support squad mentality is an absolute fucking game changer For getting shit done, for moving forward, for momentum, because you're doing it together. But How many books have you bought and thinking that's going to change my life and it's gathering dust on the bookshelf when you've got other people doing it with you, it's a whole different energy. And what do we want for September energy? And actually, you know what saying about the you are a badass. Book that also has had a chapter called money, your new best friend. We've literally done this week. And in it, she actually says that making money isn't only about the money just as losing weight isn't about losing weight, it's about what you believe is possible for you, and about who you're becoming. And money is currency. Currency is energy. We all know that. She says that we will know that we have to work to make money. We've been taught that all our lives we have to work to make money. But what we're not taught is that we must also get with the frequency and the energy of the financial abundance levels. That we want and that my love is exactly what Rich as fuck is all about, is exactly what Amanda Frances brings us. So let's freaking walk into this next season like the worldly wealthy women we're becoming. Yes, and by the way, you don't have to be rolling in it already to read the book. You just have to be ready to stop playing small with what you allow yourself to want. So the links in the show notes, it's an easy yes, if you're ready to shift your money story in real time, and you've still got time to join us before day one. Plus. Anyway, there's a members library of all the books we've done. So even more reason to level up with that September energy. Think where you could be by Christmas. The Halloween stuff's already in the bloody shops. It won't be long before the tins of celebrations are out at all. So what's going before the rush? Eh? And that's me for this week. I will be back in your beauts badass earbuds next week with more reinvention and more identity for our no fucks era. You've got this. It's September my love. Zabale, loads of love. Bye.
